Our story
To support our family working and living in Powell River, British Columbia by responsibly harvesting fresh local shrimp & prawns. We sell to commercial buyers but also offer fresh and frozen product to locals so they can enjoy the bounty of the seas near where they live.
Captain, Shane Reid, has fished locally for over 20 years. Shane began his career as a deckhand working his way up to First Mate. In the fall of 2017, Captain Randy Phalen made the decision to retire and Shane purchased the boat he knows so well and so was the beginning of Double Odds Fishing Ltd.
